STEP 1: Enter Receiver Information
The first thing to do is indicate to whom you're sending, how much you're sending, and the city and state where the money will be picked up. Upon approval of your payment information, the transaction will be sent. You will be emailed a final receipt containing your Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) confirming the transaction. Your transaction may be subject to additional validations.
Once the money has been transferred, the receiver may pick up the funds. At any time after completing your transaction, you can return to westernunion.com and click on Order Status to find out if the funds have been picked up or not.
